Before Training Begins
To give the best and most appropriate training, PCSS training consultants conduct a careful analysis of your court’s current job roles, your future skill requirements, backgrounds, and average skill levels. We understand that the expertise of individuals in the court vary according to the current work environment, job responsibilities, familiarity with the subject, and past experience. With this in mind, we develop a personalized plan especially for your court.
Training Cycle
After the personalized plan for your court is complete, the training cycle begins with a completed Onsite Training Plan and Schedule specially tailored to meet the needs of your staff. The Onsite Plan describes services such as installation, training, troubleshooting, project management, and go-live assistance, as well as dates and the material that will be covered during the onsite sessions.
This is a joint project developed with the court to establish proper time frames and identify key personnel. Our trainers then travel to your site to provide customized training sessions using specialized, document-based training materials. To train efficiently, we typically recommend the Train the Trainer approach, also known as T3 Training. With Train-the-Trainer, our staff trains a group designated by the court, and they in turn, conduct internal training classes at their own pace.
Additional Training
If additional training is necessary, PCSS offers a number of training options to suit individual learning styles and needs. For example, a PCSS Trainer can travel to your site. We can also conduct a remote training session over the Web or offer specialized training at a PCSS facility. Each year at our annual User Conference, we offer classes based on the needs of our customers. All PCSS training options are designed to help our customers take full advantage of their court's investment in quality case management software.
