Quick and Easy Jury Panel Management

The PCSS Jury Management System includes built-in flexibility to allow for single or multiple panel management.  Whether you have one judge and call prospective jurors for one trial or you have multiple judges and multiple panels being called, JMS will manage the task.  JMS will archive your jury source files, randomly select panels, generate summons, track history, compile data for reports, and issue checks.

Juror Reply Management System

When a juror response is required, the court can define questions within the jury management system and create documents for questionnaires, exemptions, deferrals, medical excuse forms, and jury service attendance letter for employer.  Let the software manage juror exemptions and reassign deferred jurors to an alternate time.  JMS will also post last-minute jury cancellations online and send emails to prospective jurors.  If the juror is unable to respond online, Clerks can enter responses manually or scan them directly into the system.

Jury Financial Management System

The juror management system includes a financial module enabling the court to create payroll records based on the number of days served. The jury system can generate reports for verification, print juror checks, and track payment history.

Multiple Jurisdiction Panel Selection System

JMS recognizes prior services of a juror regardless of the jurisdiction, and can exclude that juror during future random selection process for a user-defined number of days.

Retain Records for Multiple Years

The Jury Management System retains a complete juror history for multiple years, so there is no need to pay jurors for service before loading new juror data. JMS tracking allows the court to easily determine the status of a juror. Respond to inquiries with the stroke of a key and determine whether a juror has been summoned, is active on a panel, has been disqualified, transferred, or excused. JMS software also stores complete biographical information. All data in JMS is available for custom reporting and generating forms and notices that the court designs.
